Our members are ordinary people, not all are mothers, not all are female, and not all are married. They may be of other Christian denominations, they may be Clergy, husbands or partners of existing members.  Whoever they are and however they support and volunteer within Mothers’ Union, they all have in common a commitment to prayer, to sharing the Christian faith and to the stability of marriage and family life in all its diverse forms.

Membership is open to all Christian denominations. Some like to join a branch and have fellowship with like minded members, others with a busy lifestyle prefer to be a Diocesan member, receiving information of events and projects direct from the office. Both types of membership are valued.
